Wolverhampton licence conditions: questions and answers
Based on Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Licensing Policy (includes licence conditions, Taxi CCTV Policy, Guidelines on Fitness and Propriety and fees) (City of Wolverhampton Council, published June 2026) and 3 other sources. Checked .
Licence conditions, enforcement, DBS, lost badges, GDPR, the Health Act 2006 and vehicle conditions are all on the Wolverhampton syllabus. They are not key questions, but they make up a large part of the test.
These questions come from the council's Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Licensing Policy (approved 1 October 2025), which also holds the driver and vehicle conditions, the Taxi CCTV Policy and the Guidelines on Fitness and Propriety. The policy sets out private hire driver conditions in full; those questions are marked private hire.
