This mock matches the published format: 48 questions, 8 on each of the six subjects, and 36 right (75%) to pass. It differs from the real test in these ways. The real test comes after a course of about 4 hours, and it mixes spoken, written and multiple-choice questions; this mock is multiple choice only, so it cannot test your speaking or writing. The Council allows 60 minutes for the test but does not say how long you get per question, so the time here is only a guide. The Council publishes no sample questions, so the questions are ours, not the Council's, and the vehicle maintenance section is based on the vehicle rules in its policy. Some questions apply to one licence type and are marked. The separate hackney carriage knowledge test of locations and routes is not in this mock.
