TfL topographical route practice
The three routes are worth 66 of the 100 marks in the real assessment, so they matter most. Choose a route, then tap where you want to go, from the green marker to the red one. The line follows the roads, and a long tap keeps to main roads, so tap more points to choose your own way. One-way streets have arrows, and a closed road has a red dotted line.
Our tool doesn't stop you making a wrong move. It takes marks off afterwards, as TfL says its assessors do for routes that aren't direct and for prohibited turns. TfL doesn't publish its marking scale or say which map it uses, so our marks are a guide. This map isn't the one you will see in the test.
