Birmingham taxi knowledge test: free mock test

The real test has 18 multiple-choice questions with four answers each, in three sections of 6. You must get all 6 plying for hire questions right. You may get up to 4 wrong in the legal and conditions sections, but no more than 2 in either. This mock uses the same rules: at least 4 of 6 (67%) in each of the first two sections, 6 of 6 in plying for hire, and 14 of 18 (78%) overall. The council does not say how long you have, so this mock has no time limit. We could not confirm whether the real test is on paper, on screen or read out by the tester. These are our own questions, based on the council's private hire legal information and licence conditions, not the real test paper.
